Mobile Ramps Safety Certifications

At Mobile Ramps, we are serious about quality. We refuse to let the quality of our products be surpassed by anyone. Every single one of our stair lifts, bath tub lifts and wheelchair lifts are manufactured to the highest standards possible so our customers can enjoy quality products that function much longer than the industry average.

We’re proud to say that our products are certified by some of the top certification agencies in the business. These agencies have put our products through rigorous testing and continue to inspect our facilities on an ongoing basis. Learn more about the symbols you’ll see on Mobile Ramps products.

Intertek (ETL)

Intertek certifies the quality of products around the world and puts its ETL symbol on products that pass thorough testing. Before an AmeriGlide product can be ETL listed, Intertek inspectors completely take it apart and compare the quality of its parts and assembly to their strict set of rules and guidelines. After the product gets listed, our factory must pass quarterly surprise inspections.

Underwriter Laboratories (UL)

UL is an independent, nonprofit, non-government agency that deals with product safety. They develop safety standards, also known as American National Standards (ANSI), and evaluate products based on those standards. At AmeriGlide, we comply with ANSI standards in our efforts to provide clients with safe, durable wheelchair and stair lifts.

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)

ASME is a non-profit, independent organization that promotes the vital role of the engineer in society. ASME codes and standards provide a foundation for advancing technical knowledge and a safer world. All AmeriGlide stair lifts meet ASME codes A17.1 (Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators) and A18.1 (Safety Standard for Platform Lifts and Stairway Chairlifts).
